The WolfPack earned their second win of the day as they once again pitched a shutout, winning 7-0 over, NJCAA Region IV member, Prairie State College. First year pitchers
Josh Jaro, from Bay Port H.S. and
Michael Huckabay, from Jefferson H.S., combined to allow just six hits and no runs.
Jaro pitched five innings striking out three while
Huckabay pitched two innings striking out three.
Madison College was efficient as they scored seven runs on six hits. Second baseman,
Kevin Wild, posted three RBIs on a first inning double down the left field line as the WolfPack jumped out to a 4-0 first inning lead. Madison College added three runs in the fifth inning as third baseman,
Brent Kakwitch tripled to right center, scoring two. First year player,
James Furlano went 2-for-3 with an RBI. The WolfPack improved to 8-1 on the season and 5-1 on the spring trip.
