Sam Wilkinson came up big for the WolfPack against Harper College, scoring 20 points.
The Madison College men's basketball team advanced to the NJCAA Region IV Semifinals with a 70-51 win over Harper College in Joliet, IL, last night.
After leading by just three at half the WolfPack clamped down on defense and poured in 39 points to outscore the Hawks by 16 in the second half. Three WolfPack players reached double-figures.
Sam Wilkinson (Mazomanie, WI, Wisconsin Heights ) led the way with a game-high 20 points and was 9-for-10 from the free throw line. Bobby Komorowski (Germantown, WI, Germantown ) added 15 points and seven rebounds while teammate Antowan Epps (Oconto, WI, Oconto ) pitched in with 14 points on 3-for-5 shooting from beyond the arc.
Next up for Madison College is a February 25 semifinal matchup against MATC-Milwaukee at 5:00 PM in Joliet, IL. The WolfPack split the season series with the Stormers winning at home and losing on the road.
