Slow Start Dooms Madison College in Joliet

Derrick Nillissen led the WolfPack with 18 points in the loss to Joliet Junior College.
The WolfPack men got off to a slow start in their 76-52 loss against Joliet Junior College Feb. 13. The loss dropped the team to 6-6 in the North Central Community College Conference and 15-11 overall.

The No. 4 ranked Wolves jumped out to a 40-17 halftime lead that the WolfPack weren't able to recover from in the second half. Madison College shot just 19.4 percent (7-of-36) from the floor in the first half. They shot much better in the second half, but were unable to dig themselves out of the 23-point hole they dug themselves into in the game's first 20 minutes.

The WolfPack were led in scoring by Derrick Nillissen (Wittenberg, WI, Bowler ) who scored 18 points and hit six 3-pointers. Bobby Komorowski (Germantown, WI, Germantown ) added 10 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
