The WolfPack defense struggled to stop the Triton College Trojans on Jan. 9 in River Grove, IL in their first conference road game of the season. The hot shooting Trojans downed the WolfPack 84-63, dropping Madison College to 0-2 in the North Central Community College Conference (N4C).
The Trojan bench made a big impact, outscoring the WolfPack bench 33-15. Triton College also dominated the WolfPack in the paint, scoring 34 points down low. Paris Parramore of Triton College led all scorers with 18.
The WolfPack shot well from the field, 45.8 percent, but could not slow down the Trojan offense in the loss. Kort Frank led the WolfPack with 16 points and Bobby Komorowski and Sam Wilkinson each added 11.
Madison College (8-7) hosts Wilbur Wright College on Jan. 12 at 7:30 pm in the Douglas H. Redsten Gymnasium.
