MILWAUKEE, WISC. - The Madison College women's volleyball team remained unblemished in Region 4 competition Wednesday, earning their second straight sweep with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-14) victory at Bryant & Stratton College. Sophomore setter Allie Andrews recorded her fifth straight and seventh total double-double of the season. The win gives the #16 WolfPack a 12-1 all-time series lead with ten straight victories over the in-state rival Bobcats.

Madison College trailed early as BSC (2-3) raced out to a 7-3 lead in the first set before a quick 5-0 run put the Pack up 8-7. After a 9-9 tie, the Pack rattled off a 10-2 surge to take control and eventually win the set by seven.

Set two saw the WolfPack turn a one-point advantage into an 11-4 differential with six straight points. The lead eventually swelled to nine points at 22-13 before winning by that same margin.

Madison led from start to finish in the third and final set, using a 8-0 surge to pull away midway through the set. An attack error by the Bobcats closed out the match.

The WolfPack finished with 31 kills, led by a match-high 14 kills in the second set, and hit .121 for the match. They also racked up 15 aces for their seventh match with double-figure aces. Defensively, the Pack amassed three blocks and 60 digs.

Andrews finished with 17 assists and 15 digs to pace the team in both categories. The reigning NJCAA All-American also had five kills.

Freshman Danica Pauls, an outside hitter from Richland Center, Wisconsin, was tops with a career-high seven kills, followed by six from fellow first year Braelee Kiepert, a native of Appleton, Wisconsin. Makayla Dallas added five kills.

Pauls and Colby LaPlant tied for team-high honors with three aces each, while four others posted two aces.

Amara Jahner, a first year libero from Appleton, helped defensively with 11 digs. Kiepert added 1.5 blocks.

Madison College (7-3) is off until September 18 when they host the Madison College Triangular inside H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium. The WolfPack will open at 1:00 p.m. against #6 Heartland Community College (8-3) before wrapping up at approximately 5:00 p.m. with a match against Southeastern Community College (8-5). The Hawks and Blackhawks will play in between at approximately 3:00 p.m. All matches will be streamed live at MadisonCollege.tv.
