MADISON, WISC. - The Madison College men's basketball team nearly doubled up the Rockford University JV in a 106-56 victory in Thursday's home opener inside H. Despite scoring the game's first six points, Madison College eventually fell behind 21-18 after a barrage of three-pointers by the Regents. Still trailing by two with nine-plus minutes gone by, the WolfPack used a Ryen Jones layup to pull even and begin a 27-4 run to close the half. That run two 8-0 bursts and a 10-0 closing stretch highlighted by a steal and dunk for Williams.

Madison College continued to roll in the second half, outscoring RU by a 58-29 margin. The WolfPack got hot from long distance, sinking seven 3-pointers over the final 20 minutes. They also turned up the pressure defensively, using a full court press to force 16 turnovers.
