Draw at Milwaukee Tech closes regular season for WolfPack

Madison College takes 8-5-3 record into Region 4 Tournament starting next week

OAK CREEK, WISC. - An in-state and Region 4 rivalry match closed out the 2025 regular season for the Madison College women's soccer team, who earned a 1-1 draw at Milwaukee Area Technical College on Wednesday. Sophomore Finley LaFlash tallied the WolfPack's lone goal as both squads found the back of the net in the first 13 minutes of the match. The draw is the first non-victory for the Pack in the head-to-head series with the Stormers, which now stands at 7-0-1.

Madison College was awarded an early penalty kick as LaFlash was tripped in the penalty area just 32 seconds into the match. The Madison, Wisconsin, native took the straight on approach and scored as the Stormers goalkeeper dove to her right. The goal is the third this season for the midfielder, who had not had a successful scoring strike since September 13.

The 1-0 lead lasted about 12 minutes until Milwaukee Area Technical College (5-3-3) tallied the equalizer in the 13' against second year goalkeeper Kaelyn Welch. Milwaukee Tech came away with a steal near midfield and dribbled the ball right through the WolfPack defense before blasting a shot over Welch.

Welch, a native of Monroe, Wisconsin, faced just one more shot on goal the rest of the match. Following a corner kick, the Stormers lofted a long range shot towards the goal, but Welch was able to make the save before a potential header was attempted.

Madison College finished with an 11-6 advantage in total shots and a 6-2 edge in shots on goal. Freshman Chloe Voung led the way with three shots and two shots on goal as she was denied in the 52' and 87'. Alexandra Leal, Lexi Huebner, and Emmy Troup was also credited with shots on goal.
