The 2024 NJCAA Softball All-Region 4 teams have been announced, and four Madison College players names made the list. Sophomores
Jenna Redders,
Karis Paulson, and
Mackenna Schultz all received second team accolades, while sophomore
Kendall Weik was a third team selection. The quartet, who helped lead the WolfPack to a 29-13 record and a spot in the Region 4 Tournament semifinals, marks the most all-region recipients for Madison College since the 2021 season.

Jenna Redders, a 2023 North Central Community College Conference All-Conference honoree, picked up her first all-region accolade after leading the WolfPack with a .424 batting average, which ranks as the 19th best single-season average in program history. She also finished tied for the team lead in doubles with 13, tying for the 12th most in a season. The Middleton, Wisconsin, native, was second on the team in hits with 53 and third in runs batted in with 39. Redders finished with season-highs of four hits against Rock Valley College, twice drove in five runs, and scored three times on two separate occasions. At the plate, Redders put together a nine-game hitting streak, and finished the season with a hit in 24 of the team's final 30 games. In the field, the everyday shortstop was as reliable as they come, posting a .908 fielding percentage with a dozen errors and 61 put outs. She helped Madison College register the best team fielding percentage in school history at .958. Redders will leave the WolfPack ranking tied for fourth in career doubles (24), tied for ninth in all-time RBI (64), 14th in career hits (88), and 17th in total runs scored (59).
Karis Paulson, a second team All-N4C pick as a freshman, boosted her production and finished right behind Redders with a .423 batting average to sit as the 21st best in a season. The slugger from Monroe, Wisconsin, was tops in home runs with three, while also adding the team's second most runs batted in with 45 to reach ninth on the team's single season list. Paulson contributed 52 hits, 29 runs scored, and 18 stolen bases. She ended the season on a 12-game hitting streak, and established season-high's of four hits, three runs scored, and four RBI. The outfielder racked up a .967 fielding percentage with just two errors, and posted 55 put outs and three assists in contributing to the team's record-setting .958 fielding percentage. Paulson will leave Madison College ranking fourth in career runs driven in (82), sixth in most triples (7), seven in all-time stolen bases (36), eight in hits (94), tied for ninth in homers (6), tied for 13th in runs (64) and double (17), and 20th for career batting average at .398.
Mackenna Schultz, who was also a second team All-N4C honoreer in her first year, led the WolfPack with 54 hits for a team that boasted four players with 50 or more hits, with 18 of those hits going for extra bases. The native of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, was also first in runs batted in with 49, marking the fifth-best single-season of run production in program history. Her 44 runs scored was third on the team. After starting the season with nine hits in her first 15 at-bats, Schultz later generated an impressive 18-game hitting streak from March 13 to April 19, and went on another nine-game streak immediately after the previous run ended. She established season high's of three hits, three runs, and four runs batted in. The catcher/utility player committed four errors with a .965 fielding percentage, and registered 105 put outs and six assists as part of Madison College's record-setting defensive effort. Schultz will leave the WolfPack tied for seventh all-time in RBI (66), tied for tenth in career triples (6), tied for 11th in all-time runs (70), tied for 13th in doubles (17), and tied for 17th with 83 career hits.
Kendall Weik, who was named to the Region 4 All-Tournament Team after her impressive 14-inning effort in a marathon semifinal loss to Rock Valley College, picks up her first all-region honor after leading the Madison College pitching staff. The Fifield, Wisconsin, product finished 15-5 after making 21 appearances and 18 starts, tying her for the third most wins in a single season in team history. Weik racked up 117 strikeouts over 124.1 innings pitched, with both numbers placing her fourth in program history for a season. A 3.10 earned run average was 21st for a single season. In Weik's third career appearance, she broke the school-record for strikeouts in a game with 15 in a win over Lackawanna College during the spring trip to South Carolina. She added one more double-digit strikeout effort with 11 K's against Highland Community College. Weik's season-ending numbers also included 16 complete games pitched.
