Madison College shut out at home for second time against Bryant & Stratton College

WolfPack outshot 20-9, travel to Harper College on Wednesday for key Region 4, N4C match

MADISON, WISC. - Nearly one month since being shut out on their home pitch against Bryant & Stratton College, and less than one week since being postponed by severe weather in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, the Madison College women's soccer team again found themselve opposite the Bobcats on Friday night against Irwin A. & Robert D. Goodman Pitch-East. Unfortunately, the WolfPack suffered a similar fate, falling 4-0 in a Region 4 contest against an in-state rival. Bryant & Stratton College is now 5-0 all-time against the Pack.

The visitors jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 13' with an unassisted goal on their fourth total shot to that point, while Madison College remained nearly six minutes for producing its first shot on goal. The deficit grew to 2-0 with a 27' goal. Bryant & Stratton College (7-1) added two more goals in the second half, scoring in the 64' and 78' to put the contest out of reach.

Madison College fell short in the shots tally by a 20-9 margin, which included a 13-4 differential in shots on goal. Freshman goalkeeper Morgan Thompson, a New Glarus, Wisconsin, native, did produce nine saves, which ties for her second-highest output in a match this year.

Sophomore Lexi Kulow generated a team-high three total shots and put two on goal, while Savi Pursley and Taylor Peterson each had two total shots. Paris Rose and Madison Johnson accounted for the other two shots on goal.
