DUBUQUE, IOWA - The Madison College men's basketball team picked up its fourth win in five games with a 77-67 defeat of the Loras College JV on Wednesday night. The game, which shifted from a home game on Thursday to a road game on Wednesday, gives the WolfPack a 3-0 all-time record against the Duhawks, and pushed the 'Pack to 2-0 this season against NCAA Division III junior varsity teams.
Three players tallied at least ten points in the victory, led by first year forward
Keith Hoffman. The Stevens Point, Wisconsin, native dropped in 19 points and grabbed ten rebounds for his second consecutive - and third overall - double-double of the year. Hoffman hit three 3-pointers as part of an 8 for 11 effort overall and has scored in double-figures in seven straight outings, as well as ten of the 12 games this season. He added three assists and two steals in the game.
Telin Porter, a freshman from Houston, Texas, posted 13 points, while also leading the team with five assists and five steals. Porter's seventh game with ten or more points was the result of a 6 for 11 performance from the floor, and was accompanied by four rebounds. Rounding out the double-digit scoring was freshman
Nik Feller, who contributed ten points off the bench. The former Poynette HS athlete did most of his damage from beyond the arc with three triples.
Madison College finished the game shooting 45.6% (31-68), marking the team's third-best percentage in a game this year. They also went 8 for 16 (50%) from long range and 7 of 14 (50%) at the free throw line.

Madison College (8-4) will finish out the the 2021 portion of their schedule on Saturday, December 11 at Kishwaukee College (2-6). The WolfPack have won five straight over the Kougars, but trail in the all-time series by a 16-7 count. Tip off in Malta, Illinois, is slated for 3:00 p.m.Â
