RIVER GROVE, ILL. - Wednesday night's North Central Community College Conference matchup at Triton College saw one scoreless streak end and one continue for the Madison College men's soccer team, however, the WolfPack would have preferred it happen the other way. The Trojans won by a 2-0 margin, handing the 'Pack their first loss of the season. The goals scored ended an impressive scoreless minutes streak put together by the Madison College goalkeepers after back-to-back shutouts started the season, while the season-opening streak of not scoring a goal pushed on through another 90 minutes.
Triton College's (4-1, 2-1) Christopher Modzejewski tallied the first goal of the game in the 36', marking the first goal surrendered by the 'Pack in 256 minutes of soccer. It remained a one-goal game into the second half when Modzejewski struck again in the 54' to provide the Trojans some breathing room.
Madison College generated six total shots, but only managed to put on shot on goal. Triton College racked up 17 total shots and six shots on goal. Sophomore goalkeeper
Saxon LaFlash was credited with four saves and the two goals allowed, pushing his goals against average to 0.90 and dropping his save percentage to 0.867.

Jonas Luskey-Sanders led the WolfPack with three shots, while fellow sophomore
Ben Saric registered the lone shot on goal in the 65'.
Triton College, which is receiving votes in the
NJCAA Division III Poll, now owns a 20-7-1 all-time record against Madison College, who will host the Trojans in a rematch on Saturday, September 28.

The Hawks, who ended the WolfPack's season as part sweeping all three matches last fall, have outscored their N4C opponents by a 14-0 margin so far this season.
