MADISON, WISC. - It was a business-like effort by the Madison College women's volleyball team on Monday inside
H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium, as they dismantled the NCAA Division III Lakeland University JV in three sets to push their win streak to five straight. The WolfPack produced some of their best offensive numbers of the season in earning set wins of 25-20, 25-13, and 25-11. The victory also gives the 'Pack a 6-0 all-time mark against the Muskies.
Madison College hit better than .200 in each set against Lakeland University JV and posted their fifth match of the season with a .300 or better attack percentage for the match with a .301. Their 32 total kills marks their fifth straight three-set match with at least 30 kills. The WolfPack also racked up a season-high ten aces for the second time this fall, while posting six blocks, 26 assists, and 48 digs, as well.
Sophomore
Cathleen Flannery, who had opposed the Muskies in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference when she played at Alverno College in 2018, was tops on the team with a career-best 13 kills, a .591 efficiency, and a career-high four aces. The Green Bay, Wisconsin, native now boasts five matches this season with double-digit kills. Freshman
Sidni Walgurski and sophomore
Samantha Kessenich each had seven kills.
Of the team's 26 assists, freshmen

Skyler Salter each had nine, while fellow first year
Kaleia Lawrence added four, to go along with a pair of aces. First year libero
Amelia Walton registered ten digs to push her streak of double-digit kills to four straight matches. Sophomore Isabella Carillo led the WolfPack in blocks with a season-high three.
The WolfPack will play the Muskies JV again on October 7 in Plymouth, Wisconsin.

Madison College (9-12, 4-1) wraps up a three-match homestand on Tuesday, September 24 with a North Central Community College Conference meeting with Triton College (5-11, 0-4).
