Squaring off with the #8-ranked team in the NJCAA Division III Preseason Poll, Madison College hung tough against Anoka-Ramsey Community College. The home team used a 9-0 in the opening quarter to gain some separation, and pushed the lead to 21 with an 18-3 surge to open the second quarter. However, the WolfPack fought back and scored the final 16 points of the half to close the gap to 36-31 at the break. Less than three minutes into the third quarter, Madison College got a three-point play from Lilly Dorman to jump ahead 42-41, and the two teams would end the quarter locked in a 51-51 ballgame. The fourth quarter, though, would not be so kind to the WolfPack as the Golden Rams used an 8-0 at the start to propel themselves to a 27-8 differential in the quarter. The final ten minutes saw the 'Pack turn the ball over nine times and shoot 3 for 12 from the field.

Sophomore Aniah Williams poured in a season-high 18 points on 5 of 14 shooting with a pair of triples and a 6 for 11 effort at the free throw line.
