WolfPack rout Harper College behind hot shooting effort

Easterday buries six 3's, Anhold perfect from field to guide Madison College past Hawks

MADISON, WISC. - It wasn't without some imperfections, but Wednesday's 93-57 defeat of North Central Community College Conference foe Harper College featured a few near flawless performances. Freshman Adam Anhold was perfect from the field while sophomore Alex Easterday was hot from long range inside H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium. The victory gives the WolfPack a 13-10 edge in the all-time series.

Madison College finished 37 for 70 (53%) overall for it's sixth game of the season with a shooting percentage above 50%. That included a 9 for 22 (41%) effort beyond the arc and a 10 of 17 (59%) mark from the free throw line. Defensively, the 'Pack held Harper College (1-16, 0-3) to a 23 of 61 (37%) shooting effort, while also outscoring the Hawks 34-16 in the paint and 22-4 off turnovers.

Anhold, a 6'8" forward from Janesville, Wisconsin, converted all 11 of his field goal attempts, including a pair of three-pointers, en route to a game-high 25 points. His lone shooting blemish came on a 1 for 2 trip to the free throw line in the second half. Additionally, Anhold led all players with nine rebounds.

Easterday, a second year guard/forward, was nearly as perfect from distance with a 6 of 8 performance that led to a season-high 23 points. The former Elkhorn High School athlete has made multiple 3's in three consecutive games and now has two contests with at least five triples.

Two other sophomores scored in double-figures as Jalen Addison and Sean Suchomel contributed 14 and 13 points, repectively. Suchomel matched Anhold for the team-lead in rebounds with nine. Two-year guard Nathaniel Buss dished out a game-high seven assists.
