MADISON, WISC. - The Madison College women's soccer team saw a program record start to their season come to an end Sunday with a 4-0 loss to Anoka-Ramsey Community College at
Irwin A. & Robert D. Goodman Pitch-East. The WolfPack were unable to generate a goal for the first time in 2018, leading to a seven-match win streak being snapped.
The visiting Golden Rams scored twice in a five-minute window late in the first half, then added goals in the 67' and 75' to pull away for the win. The four goals allowed freshman
Kelly Kubicek bring her season total to five after posting clean sheets in six of the first seven matches this season.
Madison College attempted 16 total shots and put nine on goal, while Anoka-Ramsey (8-2) accounted for a dozen total shots and eight on goal. Sophomore and team scoring leader
Britt Schumann attempted the most shots with five, followed by freshman
Meghan Petroski with four.

Madison College (7-1) travels to Elgin Community College (2-4) on Wednesday for a Region IV match. The WolfPack have won three straight over the Spartans and own a 3-1 record in the head-to-head series since 2014. Kickoff in Elgin, Illinois, is at 4:00 p.m.
