The Madison College
men's and
women's basketball teams will say goodbye to 14 student-athletes when they host Harper College for Sophomore Day on Saturday. The home finale represents the final time the group of eight women and six men will play at Redsten Gym in regular season play.
The #5 WolfPack women will honor the commitment and sacrifices given by
Anna Bunyan,
Jenna Endres,
Addison Hemming,
Bri Hicks,
Kaitlyn Kast,
Taylor Nelson,
Megan Petty, and
Mandi Sargent; while the WolfPack men will do the same for
Jake Andrews,
Toby Andrews,
Malik Henderson,
Malek Lemke,
Tyler Meier, and
Kristian Zimmerman.
The Sophomore Day ceremonies will take place prior to the announcement of starting lineups for their respective games. The women tip at 1:00 p.m., followed by the men at 3:00 p.m.
Additionally, the Madison College women (24-3, 8-3) are playing for a solo second-place finish in the
North Central Community College Conference with a win. The Madison College men (10-17, 4-9) could move into a tie for fifth place in the N4C with a win.
Both teams will learn their
NJCAA Region IV Tournament seeding, opponent, and game location and date after the weekend.
