MILWAUKEE, WISC. - The Madison College women's volleyball team has not lost a set to in-state rival Milwaukee Area Technical College (0-19, 0-10) since 2009, resulting in a span of 14 matches with consecutive sweeps. That number was pushed to 15 on Thursday as the #2 WolfPack calmed the Stormers in three sets, 25-11, 25-14, and 25-13. The 'Pack has also won 29 straight matches overall in the I-94 series, owning a 76-22-3 advantage all-time.
Madison College (24-2, 9-1) started and finished the match well with a .269 hitting percentage in the first set and a .360 mark in the third. They finished with just seven hitting errors for the match, while stacking up five blocks on the defensive side of the net.
Sophomore
Andrea Bauer paced the WolfPack attack with seven kills while hitting .400. Fellow second year
Natasha Swiggum tallied six kills and hit .455. The Gays Mills, Wisconsin, native also served up five aces, matching
Keifer Zimmerman for team-high honors, as Madison College finished with 13 aces for the match.

Kaitlin Mooney collected a match-high 20 digs, while freshman
Samantha Jacobsen led the team in assists for the first time this season with 14.
Madison College plays at Triton College (3-16, 2-8) on Tuesday, October 18 in River Grove, Illinois. The match is the fourth of six straight road games to end the regular season for the WolfPack, who have won 16 straight matches against the Trojans and all have been three-set sweeps. First serve is set for 6:00 p.m.
