#2 WolfPack, Endres blow past Kishwaukee for 12th straight win

It took the Madison College women's basketball team just four minutes to build a double-digit lead Saturday against Kishwaukee College at Redsten Gym, and it was a lead that would continue to grow as the #2 WolfPack defeated the Kougars 96-33 to improve to 12-0 to start the season.

Sophomore Jenna Endres started the scoring early with a hot shooting touch from beyond the arc as she connected on 4-of-5 attempts. The WolfPack ran out to a 37-12 advantage after the first quarter, then expanded it to a 45-point lead at halftime after a 24-4 differential for the second quarter. For the game, Madison College shot 58.3% (14-24) from deep, scored 36 points off 19 Kishwaukee turnovers, and outrebounded the visitors by a 60-41 margin. The WolfPack also assisted on 24 of 30 made baskets overall.

Endres, a guard from Black Earth, Wisconsin, finished with a game-high 25 points, with all six of her baskets coming from long range. She also was 7-of-8 at the free throw line en route to her second highest point total of the season. All-America guard Taylor Nelson also made every one of her field goals from the three-point line to reach 13 points, to go along with a team-high eight assists and six rebounds. First-year forward Rachel Slaney tallied a dozen points, five assists, five boards, two blocks, and two steals. Mandi Sargent led the charge on the glass, reeling in a team-best ten rebounds. All 13 players were able to make their way into the scoring column, giving Madison College an impressive 36 bench points.
