Fresh off of four wins, the Madison College men's basketball team wasn't about to change their ways as they dominated the UW-Waukesha Cougars 88-53 on Monday night.
Jerrod Walton and three others led the way with double digit points in the non-conference win.

Madison grabbed the first half lead behind 44 percent shooting (17-for-38), and the team never looked back. Armed with a 46-25 lead at the break, the WolfPack bested their first half shooting with a 50 percent clip in the second half. Overall the 'Pack shot 47 percent from the field, 50 percent from three point range, and 65 percent from the line. Their pressure defense also contributed to 21 Cougar turnovers and a measly 32 percent shooting mark for the host UW-Waukesha.

Jerrod Walton led all players with a great offensive game that led to 20 points. He shot 7-of-13 from the field, 2-of-3 from three point range, and 4-of-4 from the line. He also added a team leading four steals. Briand Bearden was next up with 14 point to go with a team high eight rebounds and a team high five assists.
Kendale Nation and
Kristian Zimmerman added 11 and 10 points respectively.

Next up for the 'Pack is a return to N4C play and a trip to Illinois to face the College of DuPage. The 16-6 Madison College team takes on DuPage at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4.
