Madison's first half shooting (52%) just wasn't enough, as the Rock Valley Golden Eagles grabbed the 94-71 N4C conference win last Saturday, February 7. Rock Valley's main advantage was from beyond the arc, as they outscored Madison 33 points to 12.

Madison College was in the hole after the first half (45 to 36), and that trend didn't change in the second frame as Rock Valley outscored the 'Pack 49 to 35 for the 23 point win. Besides Rock Valley's 21 point advantage from downtown, the Golden Eagles outscored the 'Pack 25 to 13 in points off turnovers and 27 to 13 from the free throw line.

Brian Bearden paced the WolfPack in defeat with 21 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field.
Jerrod Walton was the only other Madison player to reach double-digits with 12 points and a team high nine rebounds.
Antowan Epps recorded a team high four assists, while lead the team with two steals.

Next up for the 16-8 WolfPack is a tough N4C game with the Triton College Trojans in Madison. The February 11 games starts at 7:30 p.m. Triton is 24-2 overall and sits atop the N4C with a 10-0 record.
