In one of their more commanding performances of the season, the top-ranked Madison College women's volleyball team swept three matches from Joliet Junior College on Thursday, October 15 in Redsten Gym. The win pushes the WolfPack's winning streak to 20 consecutive matches, including five straight matches without losing a set.
Madison College hit .316 for the match and were led in kills by
Allie Lehner and
Taylor Genthe with five each.
Stevie Winer registered four of the WolfPack's eleven total service aces and put the former McFarland student-athlete's season total at a team-best 36.
Brianne Brueggen once again paced the WolfPack attack with 20 assists. On the defensive end,
Natasha Swiggum had a pair of blocks and Winer finished with six digs.
Madison College will hit the road for the final time this regular season Tuesday, October 20 with a match in Rockford, Illinois against Rock Valley College. The WolfPack beat the Golden Eagles in four-sets earlier this season. First serve is at 6:00 p.m.
