WolfPack women fall in defensive tussle

In their penultimate game of the regular season, the Madison College women's soccer team lost by a single goal in a defensively struggle against the Concordia University Wisconsin JV in a match played in Mequon, WI. The loss marks the second consecutive for the WolfPack, who were held without a goal for just the third time this season.

Former Janesville Craig student-athlete and goaltender Lindsay Hamilton was on point against Falcons turning away five shots on goal. The match was without a goal until CUW broke through the WolfPack defense with an unassisted goal at the 52:43 mark of the second half. The Madison College attack was unable to solve the Falcons' netminder despite four shots on goal.

Madison College will put the finishing touches on the regular season with a home N4C match against Harper College on Wednesday, October 14. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m. in Madison.
