Playing in their second-to-last home match of the regular season, the Madison College women's soccer team dropped a 3-1 contest to N4C foe College of DuPage on Friday, October 9 in Madison. The loss marks the team's first in the month of October and snaps a two-match win streak.

The WolfPack's lone goal came at the 69:53 mark of the second half when former Burlington student-athlete Katie Travis found the back of the net for the fifth time this season. The goal brought Madison College within one, but less than six minutes later the Chaparrals added their final tally, returning to a two-goal advantage. Goalie Lindsay Hamilton made three saves, giving her 83 on the year. The WolfPack outshot the College of DuPage by a 15-7 margin, including one more shot on goal in the game.

Madison College takes to the road for the final time this regular season with a contest against the Concordia University JV squad. The match starts at 5:00 p.m. along the shores of Lake Michigan in Mequon.
