The Madison College team needed a comeback, and that is what they got. Down 44-40 at the half, the WolfPack mounted a comeback and dominated the second half for the 82-76 win. The WolfPack snapped a three game losing streak with the win over Joliet to improve to 12-6 overall and 3-3 in the N4C.

The Joliet Junior College Wolves came out strong in the first half, shooting 18-of-29 from the field, including 6-of-11 from the beyond the arc. Their stingy defense also held the 'Pack to 37 percent shooting from the floor as the Wolves were able to build a 13 point lead at one time in the initial frame.

After some halftime adjustments and focus on defensive intensity, Madison College was able to hold Joliet to 35 percent shooting from the floor as Madison outscored Joliet by 10 points in the frame for the six point win. The WolfPack only managed to shoot 12-of-31 from the floor in the half (a slight increase from the first half), but their domination from the line turned out to be the difference. Overall Madison sunk 26-of-35 from the charity stripe compared to Joliet's 8-of-16 shooting. Madison College also outrebounded the WolfPack 43 to 33 and were able to record 25 second effort points to Joliet's nine. Madison's depth was another factor as they scored 40 points, while Joliet only managed 17.

Jerrod Walton put together another strong effort as he led the 'Pack in scoring (19) and rebounds (13) for his second straight double-double and fourth of the season. He shot 7-of-11 from the field, connected on 1-of-2 shots beyond the arc, and hit 4-of-6 from the charity stripe. Walton also dished out three assists, blocked two shots, and recorded a team high four steals. Three others for Madison reached double digit points as
Shane Kanaman and
Kristian Zimmerman both scored 14, and
Brian Bearden added 11 in the win. Zimmerman was the most effective outside shooter for the 'Pack as he shot 3-of-6 from the three-point line, and Kanaman and Bearden paced the team from the free throw line. Kanaman hit 8-of-9 freebies, and Bearden knocked down 7-of-8. Bearden also blocked two shots and
Tanner Schieve dished out a team high five assists.
