In their re-match with the Fox Valley Technical College Foxes, the WolfPack once again came away with the win, though the Foxes put up a fight in the 77-62 contest in Appleton. The WolfPack held a six point lead at the break (33 to 27), before outscoring the host Foxes by nine for the non-conference victory.

The WolfPack got off to a good start in the early going off of 12-of-35 shooting in the first half, even though Fox Valley outshot them form the floor 42 to 34 percent. The 'Pack turned up the defensive intensity in the second half and held the Foxes to an identical 42 percent shooting from the floor, but improved offensive efficiency proved to be the difference. The WolfPack shot 46 percent from the floor and dominated the paint all game long outscoring the Foxes down low 44 to 18. In the second half alone Madison was really a force in the paint, scoring 30 points to Fox Valley's four.

Brian Bearden paced the 'Pack in scoring with 15 points off of the bench on 5-of-10 field goals and 5-of-6 free throw shooting.
