The Madison College women's basketball team continued its trend of impressive wins Monday night. Hosting UW-Marathon County, the WolfPack handled the Huskies, 94-55.
There was no quadruple-double or triple-double for
Taylor Nelson this time around. However, the freshman star did finish with 21 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals.
Jenna Endres led the WolfPack in scoring, finishing with 22 points.
Kelly Calhoun and
Addison Hemming added 11 and 10, respectively. Collectively, Madison College shot 52 percent from the field.
Defensively,
Jessica Pelzel's group was once again effective in making the most of their opponent's turnovers. The 'Pack forced 19 Marathon County mistakes, which would lead to 29 points.
Madison College (10-3, 2-0) heads into Wednesday night's matchup against fourth-ranked Rock Valley College on a seven-game winning streak. The Golden Eagles were last year's national runner-up. Tip-off for Wednesday is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
