Women's soccer dropped by College of DuPage

The Madison College women's soccer team suffered its worst loss of the season Friday, falling 6-1 to the College of DuPage. Elizabeth Conejo scored with one minute to go in the game, preventing the Chaparrals from picking up the shutout.

Angela Toritto was the star of the game, scoring a hat trick for the College of DuPage. Toritto's goals came in the 15th, 29th and 48th minute. Alexis Espositista-Allga scored twice for the Chaparrals.

Madison College used two different goalies during the game, Tynia Goldensoph and Kathleen Endres, with both making two saves and giving up three goals.

The WolfPack was outshot during the match 16-15, including the Chaparrals getting one more try on net (10-9).

Up next, Madison College (0-4-1, 0-3) will host Harper College Wednesday at 4 p.m. They will follow that up with another game at Warner Park Friday, Sept. 26 against Joliet Junior College.
