Coming off their first-ever tie in program history, the Madison College women's soccer team had high hopes of picking up their first win at Rock Valley College Wednesday. Unfortunately, the Golden Eagles proved to be too tough, handing the WolfPack a 3-0 loss.
It was the first time in their four-game history that the WolfPack was held scoreless. The Madison College struggles were a result of the Rock Valley defense. The Golden Eagles held the 'Pack to just four shots in the game, with none of those being on net.
Sadey Jumapao put Rock Valley on the board in the first half, scoring in the game's 39th minute. After the break, the Golden Eagles would add two more goals, as Hayley Reeser and Nicole Fauerbach capped off the scoring.
Stephanie Myszkowski finished with four saves for Madison College.
The WolfPack (0-3-1, 0-2) will try to rebound from the loss next Wednesday, Sept. 17 at Milwaukee Area Technical College. Kickoff in Milwaukee is scheduled for 4 p.m.
