Ranked number one, and already 4-0 in their young season, the Madison College women's volleyball team will compete in their first road match this evening at 6 p.m. The WolfPack will pay a visit to McHenry County College in Crystal Lake, Illinois.

So far this season, Madison College has beaten all but one opponent, Moraine Valley Community College, in straight sets. Meanwhile, the Scots currently sit at 2-3 overall, with their most recent match resulting in a 3-1 loss to Kaskaskia College.

Sophomore Brooke Gilbertson has been fantastic for the 'Pack in her role as an outside hitter. In the team's opening tournament, the College of DuPage Invitational, she led the team twice in kills in four matches. Two other returners from last year's national title team, Hannah Grahn and Sydney Clarson, have 82 assists and 84 digs, respectively.

Madison College will host Joliet Junior College later this week in their home opener. The match, which will be played Thursday, is set to start at 6 p.m.
