Box Score The Madison College softball team's struggles with Douglas College JV (Canada) continued Sunday. For a second straight game, the WolfPack was mercied by the Royals, losing 9-1 in five innings.

The brunt of the damage inflicted by Douglas College JV came in the third inning. Leading 2-0, the Royals went off for seven runs to put the 'Pack in a very tough spot.

Madison College would respond in the top of the fourth, as Karlie Ganzer ripped a solo home run to left field. Unfortunately, it would serve as the WolfPack's lone hit of the game.

Paige Weber took the loss for Madison College. Weber allowed nine runs in two and two-thirds innings, walked one and struck out one.

The WolfPack (4-3) are still looking for their first win on their spring trip to Tucson, Ariz. Doane College JV (Neb.) will serve as their next opponent this afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
