Powered by 10 kills from sophomore middle blocker Mikayla Nigl, the second-ranked Madison College volleyball team defeated the Edgewood College Eagles JV squad 3-0 Thursday night, winning by scores of 25-14, 25-18 and 25-17. The victory improved the WolfPack's record to 23-3 overall, including an 11-1 mark in North Central Community College Conference (N4C) play.

On senior night, which is really a tribute to the school's second-year players, plenty of sophomores commanded the spotlight. Setter Hannah Grahn finished with 19 assists, while defensive specialist Sydney Clarson tallied 12 digs.

Madison College will finish their regular season Monday, as the WolfPack will play in the UW-Whitewater JV Triangular against Whitewater and Carthage College. The postseason begins Wednesday with the NJCAA Region IV Tournament quarterfinals. The WolfPack is the defending NJCAA Division III national champion.
