The second-ranked Madison College women's volleyball team locked up their third straight North Central Community College Conference (N4C) championship Thursday evening. Playing at Milwaukee Area Technical College, the WolfPack cruised past the Stormers 3-0, winning by scores of 25-11, 25-12 and 25-18.
Offensively, it was all about the freshmen in the team's final conference match.
Abbey Loken led the team with 12 kills, with
Allie Lehner adding eight more. Setter
Brianne Brueggen dished out a team-high 19 assists.
Defensively, sophomore
Sydney Clarson paced the 'Pack with 15 digs.
With the victory, Madison College closed out their conference season 11-1, their only loss coming a week ago at then seventh-ranked Harper College. The WolfPack has three more matches left in their regular season. Up next, they'll host Edgewood College Thursday, Oct. 23, at 6 p.m., in what will be their final home match of the year.
