Box Score The Madison College men's basketball team earned their second N4C conference win of the season with a 73-48 thrashing of the Wilbur Wright College Rams on Wednesday night.
Dominic Fumbanks posted a season-high 26 points on 5-for-6 shooting from beyond the arc.
The WolfPack got out to a 39-27 halftime lead after scoring 20 out of their 39 points in the paint and holding Wilbur Wright to just 35 percent shooting.
Dominic Fumbanks made all his shots including two three-pointers in that first half. In the second half, Madison College continued their hot shooting, finishing the game shooting almost 48 percent from the field and 58 percent from three-point country. The WolfPack bench, led by Fumbanks, outscored the Wilbur Wright College bench 40-9 to take the game by 25 points, 73-48.
In addition to Dominic Fumbank's 26 point, 10 rebound double-double his teammate,
Xavier Robinson, came off the bench to give the WolfPack 10 points and four rebounds. Second year post player,
Adam Ruka, added nine points and nine rebounds while
Brandon Holz added eight points, six rebounds and four steals.
The WolfPack improved to 2-9 in conference play and 5-22 overall. Madison College will play Rock Valley College at the
Jam the Gym event hosted at the H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium on Saturday at 8:00 PM.
