WolfPack Down the Foxes, 80-63

Box Score A hot shooting Madison College team, led by Jason Miller's 25 points, earned their fourth win of the season in front of a home crowd. The WolfPack beat the visiting Fox Valley Technical College Foxes, 80-63, on Monday night.  The WolfPack shot almost 50 percent from the field.

The WolfPack jumped out to a 38-33 lead at half behind 14 first half points from first year guard Dominic Fumbanks.  The WolfPack shot almost 47 percent from the field and got 19 points from their bench in the half. 

In the second half, Madison College continued their hot shooting by going 13-25 from the field (52 percent) and made both three pointers they attempted.  The WolfPack built the lead to 18 points and eventually won 80-63.  It was a much needed win for a WolfPack team that will play two  conference opponents later in the week.

Jason Miller led all scorers with 25 points, going 9-for-12 from the free throw line.  Miller also grabbed seven rebounds and had two steals while fellow guard, Dominic Fumbanks, poured in 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season.  Ryan Plaice also grabbed 10 rebounds to go with his eight points.  Adam Ruka added nine points and five rebounds.

With the win, the WolfPack improve to 4-18 overall having won two of their last three games.  The next two games will be at home against N4C opponents starting on Wednesday night versus Harper College at 7:30 PM.
