Tomorrow (Wednesday, February 8) the Madison College basketball teams will take to the hardwood at H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium. The WolfPack are set to host N4C opponent, Joliet Junior College. The women's game will tip-off at 5:30 PM, while the men will tip-off at at 7:30 PM.
The WolfPack women (14-6, 4-1 ) will face Joliet Junior College for the second time this season. Back on January 14, the WolfPack snuck out a six point win against the Wolves in Joliet, IL. The WolfPack overcame 25 turnovers and received 25 points from second year guard,
Thresia Elskamp in the victory. Joliet is currently 7-12 overall and 1-4 in conference.
The Madison College men (7-15, 4-4 ) will face their third straight conference team seeded ahead of them in the N4C. The WolfPack are 1-1 against top conference opponents, beating Milwaukee Area Technical College on Saturday and losing to Triton College last Wednesday. The Wolves are currently in third place in the N4C just above the WolfPack who are tied for fourth place with Rock Valley College. Joliet is currently 16-7 overall and 5-3 in conference play. Madison College fell 72-63 to Joliet back on January 14th in Illinois. The WolfPack had a slow start in that game, scoring just 21 points in the first half. The team was led by
