Men’s Basketball Overpowered in Iowa

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Armed with their first win of the season in Monday's 96-81 win over Fox Valley, the Madison College men's basketball team was defeated 75-98 by the Ellsworth Community College Panthers on Saturday afternoon before losing to the North Iowa Area Community College Trojans 51-90 in their final game in Iowa Sunday.

Four players reached double digits in the loss to Ellsworth, including Dominic Fumbanks 23. Fumbanks was eight of sixteen from the field with five of ten of his makes coming beyond the arc. Jason Miller (19), Alex Wuensch (12), and Lucas Baier (11) rounded out the WolfPack scorers in double figures. Miller registered a team high two steals, Wuensch dished out a team high four assists, and Charlie Grafft hauled down six rebounds to lead the team.

In their 90-51 loss over the North Iowa Area Community College Trojans two players reached doube-figures, led by Jason Miller's 21. Miller also tied for the team lead with Charlie Grafft with seven rebounds. Dominic Fumbanks finished behind Miller with 13. Fumbanks also grabbed two steals and hauled down five rebounds.

Next up for Madison College is Wednesday's game on December 12 against the Rochester Community & Technical College Yellowjackets. The game in Madison starts at 7:30 PM.
