WolfPack Men Bested by Joliet Junior College

For the second straight game a slow start would haunt the Madison College men's basketball team. Playing at Joliet Junior College, the WolfPack would score just 21 first half points en-route to a 72-63 loss.

In the opening twenty minutes Madison College hit just 7-of-28 shots from the field (25%). Meanwhile, the Wolves would knock down 15-of-39 (38.5%). The difference would leave the 'Pack in a 19 point halftime hole.

Scot Vesterdahl's team, never one to back down in times of adversity, would play much better in the second half. The WolfPack would make 17-of-35 shots (48.6%), and outscore their opponent 42-32. Tyler Kowalkowski led the way offensively for the 'Pack, finishing with 23 points. Garrett Borgrud had a nice game as well, tallying a double-double with 15 points, 12 rebounds. Madison College finished the game with a 1:1 assist-to-turnover ratio (13 assists, 13 turnovers).
