WolfPack Volleyball Back on Winning Track

It didn't take long for the Madison College volleyball team to respond from their fist North Central Community College Conference (N4C) loss last Thursday. Visiting in-state rival Milwaukee Area Technical College Tuesday night, the WolfPack crushed the Stormers 3-0. None of the three sets were even close, as the 'Pack clobbered Milwaukee 25-2, 25-5, and 25-4.

After a 17 error outing against Joliet Junior College, the WolfPack faired much better offensively. Madison finished the evening with 25 kills, and just five errors. Hannah Schwartzer led the WolfPack with 12 kills. Madison also got 22 assists from sophomore Kirsten Halma, and a whopping 33 total team service aces. Hillary Hausman paced the team with 9 of the 33 aces, while Calli Dahl chipped in 7 in the dominating win.

Madison College (6-3) will head to the Rochester Invitational this coming weekend. The team is set to open up play against Minnesota West Community & Technical College Friday, September 9th at 12:00 PM. The matchup against the Bluejays will mark one of three on the afternoon for the WolfPack who also play Indian Hills Community College (Division 1), and Central Lakes College.
