Madison College Men Fall to Wolves

The Madison College Men's Basketball team fell behind by ten points at halftime and had no answer for the Joliet Junior College Wolves offense in the second half as the visiting Wolves won, 93-67.  Madison College guard, Aaron Jones, had a game-high 22 points in the loss.

The Joliet Junior College Wolves proved to be too much for the host WolfPack.  Joliet led by as many as 32 points in the second half and dominated Madison College on the glass, outrebounding the WolfPack 53-35.  The Wolves shot over 45% from the field including 53% from the field in the second half while winning the battle in the paint by 10 points.

Aaron Jones led Madison College in scoring with 22 points on 4-for-7 three-point shooting.  Derrick Nillissen also shot well from three-point land as he was 4-for-8 and was the only other WolfPack player in double-figures with 12 points.

Madison College fell to 7-9 overall and 2-2 in North Central Community College (N4) play.  Next up for the WolfPack is a matchup against Harper College on January 18th in Palatine, IL.
