WolfPack Men Clip Eagles, 81-72

The WolfPack Men used a thirteen point halftime lead to propel themselves to their second straight North Central Community College Conference (N4C) victory.  Madison College beat the host Rock Valley College Eagles, 81-72.

Madison College jumped out to a 41-28 halftime lead by shooting almost 49% from the field and over 45% from beyond the arc.  The WolfPack forced 15 turnovers and converted 24 points off those turnovers as the WolfPack led by as many as 17 points in the second half. 

Aaron Jones led the way for the WolfPack as he posted a game-high 21 points on 8-for-15 shooting.  Jones also pulled down eight rebounds and dished out seven assists while playing 35 minutes of the game.  Former Eau Claire North athlete, Corey Yahnke pitched in with 17 points and seven rebounds.

With the win, the WolfPack improved to 7-8 overall and 2-1 in N4C play.  Next up for the WolfPack is a home game versus Joliet Junior College on Saturday, January 15 at 3:00 PM.
