Once again this year the Madison College Women's Volleyball team is hosting a Dig Pink event. The volleyball match will take place on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 6:00 PM in the H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium on the Madison College Truax Campus. The #6 nationally ranked WolfPack will face NCAA Division III Carthage College with all the event proceeds going to the Side-Out Foundation.
Dig Pink is a National Breast Cancer awareness rally that is taking place throughout the month of October. High Schools and Colleges are hosting Dig Pink matches all across the country to help educate and raise funds to help fight breast cancer. The Side-Out Foundation (Side-Out) was established in 2004 by a group of individuals drawn together by their love of volleyball, but who also share a similar passion to be a part of the war against breast cancer. Side-Out's mission is to raise money for the war against breast cancer through the recreational activity of volleyball.
Admission to the game is $5 with all the proceeds going to the Side-Out Foundation. Additionally, people can donate to via our team's
