Courtney Brown looks up as the 2009-10 season comes to an end against Milwaukee.
The Madison College men's basketball team ended their season with a 76-67 loss to Milwaukee Area Technical College in the NJCAA Region IV Semifinals in Joliet, IL.
Madison College trailed by just three points at halftime and the Stormers were able to hold off the WolfPack in the second half.
Bobby Komorowski (Germantown, WI, Germantown ) poured in a game-high 18 points in his final game for the WolfPack. Kort Frank (DeForest, WI, DeForest ) came off the bench to score 14 points while fellow second-year players Drew Mandli (Egan, MN, Eagan ) and Sam Wilkinson (Mazomanie, WI, Wisconsin Heights ) added 10 points and eight points respectively.
The Stormers were on fire from beyond the arc. They hit 9-of-15 three-point attempts (60 percent). Alex Schofield, who scored 14 points, was a perfect 4-of-4 from three-point land for MATC-Milwaukee.
Madison College finished 17-13 on the season and 7-7 in their first season in the N4C. The WolfPack will lose seven players next year, but look to return Antowan Epps (Oconto, WI, Oconto ), Derrick Nillissen (Wittenberg, WI, Bowler ) and Courtney Brown (Milwaukee, WI, Green Bay East ) for a promising 2010-11 season.
