The Madison College Men split the season series against MATC-Milwaukee winning 87-74 on Milwaukee's home floor. The WolfPack improved to .500 (4-4) in the North Central Community College Conference for the first time this season with the victory over the Stormers.
The WolfPack avenged a 10-point loss in the conference opener to the Stormers on Jan. 30. The WolfPack received a dominant performance from Bobby Komorowski (Germantown, WI, Germantown ) who scored a season-high 27 points on 10-of-18 shooting. His performance included hitting 4-of-8 from 3-point range.
The WolfPack also got dominant performances from Sam Wilkinson (Mazomanie, WI, Wisconsin Heights ) and Antowan Epps (Oconto, WI, Oconto ) who scored 18 and 12 respectively. Their bench was quiet on the night with the exception of Kort Frank (DeForest, WI, DeForest ), who scored 13 points and pulled down eight rebounds.
The Madison College defense limited the Stormers to just 4-of-23 shooting from beyond the arc. Christopher Hortman scored a team-high 25 points in the loss, as the WolfPack held the rest of MATC-Milwaukee offense in check.
The WolfPack return home Tuesday, Feb. 2 to play Triton College, who defeated the WolfPack by 21 earlier this season at 7:30 p.m. They bring a three-game winning streak back to Madison with all three wins coming on the road.
