The Madison College Men's Basketball team won their third straight game as they jumped out of the gate with over 67% shooting in the first half. Taking a 27 point lead into halftime the host WolfPack pushed the lead to 38 points in the second half, cruising to a 94-59 win over UW-Marshfield.
Not only did the WolfPack shoot over 51% for the game the team committed just nine turnovers and outrebounded the visiting Marauders 51-32. Madison College dominated the points in the paint as well outscoring the Mauraders 56-10.
Aaron Jones led all scorers with 25 points on 10-for-15 shooting from the field and was 4-for-4 from the free throw line. Jones also added six steals in 24 minutes. Off the bench,
Corey Yahnke added 16 points and
Mike Wynn, in his first action of the year, pitched in with 10 points as WolfPack outscored the Marauders 41-10 in bench points.
The WolfPack improved to 5-4 and will face Cochise College in Phoenix, AZ, on December 28th in the first game of the Phoenix College El Portal Holiday Classic.
