WolfPack Men Outlasted in OT

The Madison College men entered overtime for the second time this season when they rallied from a 43-32 halftime deficit against Rock Valley College in Rockford, IL. The WolfPack battled back in the second half and tied the game at 64 apiece at the end of regulation.

The Golden Eagles came out on top at the end of overtime 72-70 to secure the hard-fought victory over the WolfPack. This is the second time Madison College has went into overtime this season and evened up their overtime record at 1-1.

The WolfPack were led by the trio of second-year players Sam Wilkinson, Bobby Komorowski and Drew Mandli. Wilkinson led the WolfPack with 18 points and has reached double digits in scoring for the fifth consecutive game, averaging 15.0 ppg during that span. Mandli scored a season-high 14 points and recorded his first double-double of the season by adding 11 rebounds to his 6-of-8 shooting performance. Komorwski rounded out the Wolfpack offense by adding 14 points.

The WolfPack (9-8, 1-3) look to rebound from their tough overtime loss on Jan. 19 when Joliet Junior College travels to Madison at 7:30 pm.
