Toby Parker

Hired in the spring of 2005, in only four seasons at the helm, Toby Parker has amassed an impressive 110-32-1 (.769) overall record. In his fourth season as head women’s volleyball coach his team finished with an overall record of 32-8, placing first in the WTCC conference, first in the WJCAA state meet, and second in the NJCAA Region XIII. His team was ranked in the top five nationally in the NJCAA Division III all season. The team finished the season ranked #3 in the nation. The program produced its fourth and fifth NJCAA All-Americans this season (Kayla Connor and Roxanne Toby) with all five Madison College women’s volleyball All-Americans coming during Parker’s tenure.

Parker came to Madison College with a wealth of coaching experience at both the high school and USA Volleyball Junior Olympic level. In the sixteen years prior to Madison College, he compiled a 187-120 (.609) record as a high school coach, as well as a 240-89 (.729) record at the Junior Olympic level. His athletes and teams achieved success at conference, state and national levels.

During his high school coaching career, Parker produced thirty-four high school all-conference players, six conference Players-of-the-Year award winners and sent over thirty of his former players on to compete at the collegiate level. Parker has also seen three of his former players become NCAA All-Americans. Parker founded the Wisconsin Performance Volleyball Club in 1998, currently one of the largest Junior Olympic volleyball programs in the state of Wisconsin.

Coach Parker is a former indoor AA club player and a professional outdoor player, competing on both the Eastern Volleyball Association tour as well as the Midwest Volleyball Professionals tour. Parker was born and raised in Madison, WI. He currently lives in Verona, WI with his wife, Holly, their daughter, Grace and triplets, Emma, Chloe and Cody. In addition to coaching at Madison College, Parker owns his own business, The Sports Management Group.
