Sydney Toon is entering her first season as an assistant coach for the Madison College women's volleyball team after being hired in July 2019.
Toon comes to the WolfPack after serving as an assistant coach with the Middleton High School program the past couple of years.
As a collegiate volleyball player at Univ. of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Toon was a dominant defensive force along the net, recording a team-high 109 blocks as a sophomore and ranking second in the WIAC in the category. The middle blocker was also fifth on the team with 165 kills. After two years with the Warhawks varsity team, Toon played two more years on the UWW club team.Â
Toon was a three-year varsity player at Middleton High School and helped the Cardinals to a Big Eight Conference title as a senior with a 9-0 record. She was a three-time all-conference honoree, earning a first team selection in her final year after back-to-back second year accolades.
Toon currently resides in Middleton, Wisconsin.Â
