Sarah (Boland) Grotsky is in her 3rd season as the Madison Area Technical College head women’s volleyball coach. Grotsky’s WolfPack volleyball team finished with a 12-18-5 record last season. The MATC women finished second in the WTCC Conference with a record of 5-3.
Coach Grotsky was a three-sport athlete (volleyball, softball, basketball) and two-year letterwinner while playing for Lockport High School in Lockport, IL. After high school she attended college at Murray State University. At Murray State, Grotsky was a four-year letterwinner and was selected to the all-freshman team in her first season. In 1995, she served as team captain.
Grotsky was born on July 23, 1974 in Joliet, IL. Her parents are Brian and Janet Boland. She married Jack Grotsky on Saturday, July 13, 2002. She and Jack currently live in Sun Prairie. In addition to coaching at MATC, Grotsky is a decorative painter, owning her own business, Doodle’s Designs.
