Kelly McCarthy, a former MATC student-athlete, is in her first year as MATC assistant women’s volleyball coach. McCarthy grew up in Highland, WI where she attended Highland High School. At Highland, she was a three-sport athlete who earned all-conference honors in both volleyball and softball.

After high school, McCarthy came to MATC. At MATC, she has also been a versitile multiple sport athlete playing volleyball for two seasons (2004-2005), basketball for one season (2006-07) and softball for one season (2007). In volleyball, she earned WTCC All-Conference and NJCAA All-Region honors in her second season. McCarthy is ranked fifth all-time in school history in both career kills and eighth all-time in career blocks.

In addition to coaching, she currently works as a project coordinator at Miron Construction.
