Hannah Schwartzer will be joining the Madison College athletic staff as a first-year assistant volleyball coach under Head Coach Toby Parker. Fresh off of two straight NJCAA DIII National Championships, Schwartzer will join an excellent staff that has helped produce six NJCAA All-Americans during the WolfPack’s two championship runs.

Schwartzer graduated from Madison La Follette High School in 2010 and starred for the Lancers before taking her talents to Madison College. While at La Follette, Schwartzer played three sports volleyball, basketball, track & field) and earned six varsity letters in high school. In her two years at Madison College, Schwartzer played both volleyball and basketball for the WolfPack, earning four letters at the college. In volleyball, Schwartzer was named all-region (Region IV) and all-region tournament in her first season, and all-conference (N4C), all-region (Region IV), and all-region tournament as a second year player for the ‘Pack. In her second season with the team, she led the squad with 325 kills, was second on the team with 305 digs, and added 32 service aces and 21 blocks. Her 325 kills in 100 sets in her second season ranks fourth in the Madison College record books.

After her time at Madison College, Schwartzer moved on to UW-Milwaukee where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology in 2015. Before her graduation, she returned to her roots and worked as an intern for the Madison College Athletic Department.

Schwartzer has spent five years coaching volleyball, including one season as the Head Freshman girls volleyball coach at Madison La Follette High School.
